EXP 6 ® Expanding Foam Tape 44 Db Rating
When compressed to within its 600 pa weather seal range EXP 6 Expanding Foam Tape offers an acoustic rating of 44 Db.
So, to keep things simple EXP 6 in 5-12mm will provide 44 Db when its is compressed from 5mm up to 12mm. The 44 Db rating does not apply if you allow the Expanding foam tape to expand beyond 12mm
